Great for hot weather (have it cold!) and for cold weather (have it hot!). Delicious and super healthy.
- 10 fl.oz. milk
- 3 fl. oz. water
- 1 teaspoon custard powder
- 5 teaspoons sugar
In a deep pan, heat milk. It is better if it has cream in it. Add a quarter of water.
In the meantime, in a small bowl, put 2 tablespoon cold milk. Add 1 teaspoon of custard power and mix. There should be no lumps remaining.
When the milk is hot, add sugar and the custard syrup. Mix well.
Turn the heat to low and let the mixture thicken.
*In the meantime, chop the fruits (apple, guava, banana, etc.) into bite-size pieces.
When the custard is thick enough, turn off the heat. Add the fruits if you want to have it hot.
*If you want it cold, chop the fruits a few minutes before you want to serve or have it. Add after the custard has been refrigerated for a few hours.
